I was attending a conference in State College Pennsylvania as part of the National Extension Climate Initiative group I belong to. One of our members is from the area and was kind enough to arrange a dinner for the NECI members at a local establishment called RE Farm Cafe. We got a tour of the farm and the restaurant from the owner and it was amazing. The entire building has a zero carbon footprint. The food is grown, to the maximum extent possible, on the 65 acre farm where the restaurant is located. It was some of the best food I have ever tasted and I have eaten at a number of high end establishments here in Florida and in California. I won't even try to describe it because it has to be experienced and I was lucky enough to have done so. This video is well worth the 11 minutes to watch and tells the story behind the RE Farm Cafe.
